Biggest weapon against them is water and most people use water. Most people these days.

Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem

That is why Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem they leave us alone.

The most thing that harms them is water. And all of us today don't use water as we use it at night. Because during the day, either the wife is working or the husband is working. So water isn't being used in day.

During night is jinn life that is hwy awliyaullah don't like people out after Isha. After Isha to Fajr time is time of life for jinn they are active at that time. That is why sahaar al-layaali making the nighttime alive, to make your night like daytime, people today don't like to live except a that time…

They don't like to watch TV except at night, they don't like to do dhikr except at night, they forget about dhikr during the day, then at night they sit and watch TV and do dhikr. So what is that dhikr? It's ok, at least you are doing dhikr. But not the real dhikr.

So the most thing that harms them is water. And not only water, jinn like to live in places that are not clean, bathroom you must say as prophet taught us, "اعود بالله من الخبث و الخبائث  - Audhu billah min al-khubthi wal-khabaa'ith."

So when a child will go to bathroom passing urine immediately they posses him. Why because by mistake a jinn is passing then if that urine will drop on him, he is dead completely. on that jinn it will die immediately. And then the family of that jinn as a group they don't leave that person alone, they will all come together to attach that person.

So all of us must give thanks to Allah day and night that you have not been attacked by jinn. Many people come to see me or my brother or Grandshaykh and Mawlana shaykh to really been attacked. You become like that on floor and the speak thru you. You are not yourself anymore. Your eyes become big, your ears grow up, your mouth open and your shout like voice of man or a lady like the voice of a man. And then they fill all the crawling spaces, [i.e. fill all space with crawling thing]. They fill all the crawling spaces and come to you making you to feel afraid, scaring you, all kinds of scaring you. Every type of things that makes you scared they throw it there.

And if you go to and that person especially, it might be the whole family is not attacked, only one person attacked or two, [but] then the whole family is disturbed. They become affected, they cannot sleep.

after coming from Cyprus, a family came to see me. I didn't know what is the problem. They came to see me. and brought someone like that. Usually I am not doing that anymore. After that day. One time I was in Canada and they brought one time and after that I said I am not going to do that anymore. Because they attack you.

They brought that boy with them who looks very strange. His eyes look like cat's eyes. When jinn comes they turn the eyes into cat's eyes. They make the iris straight, not round. Not everyone can see that. So they said, "Our son is mentally sick, he has a problem - they diagnosed him as bipolar."

What is bipolar? He is possessed! They don't understand. They say that person is bipolar, because he hears voices coming. This doctor here approves that theory.  He doesn't understand that. But this doctor he understands. They call it bipolar two personalities, it is not split personality. What do you call it? Split personality.  It is not split personality, that is what the Prophet (s) said about jinn.

It is a jinn personality and a human [one]. When the jinn personality wants to show itself up, it becomes different than the human. They begin sending different information, "Do this, do that, throw yourself from the window." That is what happened. They say, "His mind doesn't function well he gets these voices ordering him to do this, hallucinations." That is not [the case], that is what jinn are ordering him to do.

That boy came as soon as I was looking at his eyes, and it was Jumu`ah prayer, and I have to give the Jumu`ah, and immediately when he looked at me and I looked at him, immediately [when] he turned his eyes I knew, and he pulled all my energy. It was so heavy that I was walking very slowly, slowly to the Jumu`ah. I wasn't telling people. Then I went and give the khutba, and you can see it in the internet, it is very slow. You have them on Sufilive.com. Then coming to pray, the Jumu`ah, I said, "I cannot be imam. I cannot stand." I asked one, Sahib who is a hafiz of Qur'an, "you stand imam."

First rakaat I was praying but I was falling down. Second rakaat we prayed the first; the second I sat down, I prayed it sitting. Then I left to the office, the room where we sit in the masjid.

Then it slowly, slowly it came back. Because I was not ready to him - to that jinn that is inside that boy. So then they [the family] stayed and I read and read and read, and he was better and better, better. But at that time my energy was going so they left - they have to go.

But I usually don't like to do it, when I can say [to the family] "you do this, you do that," [i.e. different recitations or actions to do over time to help the jinn-afflicted person] but to take them out, it is big, it is a battle zone.

That lady that they brought to me [in Montreal], was a normal lady. She speaks English, speaks French, speaks Swahili. You were there. She was from not from your country. You were there at that time? No you were not yet coming. In Montreal? To Mohammad Mousa's house from Djibouti. You remember it.

And she was normal, then suddenly jumped on me, and as if I was seeing her nails coming out. No one can control her, like ten of them jumped to put her down and she was stronger than these ten. Because she knew I have to take that one out.

What to do first? It is to bring her down, the one that is in her, and he is speaking fluent Arabic. She doesn't know Arabic. She doesn't know one word in Arabic. You didn't see jinn really [yet]. Alhamdulillah you are "smelling the smell" but with Mawlana's protection you didn't experience that.

So with all her force in Arabic language and she was opening her mouth and her mouth become like that, and saying in Arabic, "ureed an ahraqak. I want to burn you." I am feeling it up to today. I want to burn you! You read Qur'an, whatever you read. I am burning you. No I am burning you. She is burning me, I am burning her. She begins to make kufr in Qur'an and in Prophet. She…

It really became so that I would not touch someone possessed by jinn. We used to do it a lot. So they brought that child.

Now that lady when she begins to speak like that you see fire coming from her. She wants to attack you and burn you. And everything in perfect Arabic and in male voice.

So then I told here you have 3 choices. Up to today they speak about that in Montreal. I told the jinn, "Either you go peacefully from her mouth and we have nothing to do with you. Or you go from the belly. Or you go from the big toe."

They don't like to go from big toe. That is humiliation. They consider it humiliation. As when Iblees was ordered to make sajda to Adam.

There are 3 kinds: normal jinn, mu'min (believer) jinn and ifreet. Mu'min jinn are easy to work out. But ifreet - she harmed it because she was using water at night and she was washing the floor and the window with a hose and not saying:

اعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم اعود بالله من الخبث و الخبائث

"Audhu billah min ash-shaytan ir-rajeem Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem Audhu billah min al-khubthi wal-khabaa'ith." So she killed [one of its family] and it came and possessed her.

So I said, "I am giving you three choices." She said, "No I am not choosing. … I will burn you." Then I begin to recite Naqshbandi silsila. As I am reciting that jinn was becoming more and more wild, attacking, and more aggressive. And I was shaking, really I was shaking. Because I am not able to control him - if he comes out he will enter in me. If you don't have enough power to stop it. So it came to my heart, from Mawlana Shaykh "recite the silsila quickly." And so I began to recite the silsila and as I finished it I said "You have to come out!" and he said, "I will not come out and you can read whatever you want to read."

Then I read something special that Grandshaykh gave us, as soon as I began reading these verses and du`a that lady was calming down. So when I began reciting like that the jinn must go from the toe. Then the lady was opening her eyes. Everyone left and ran away. And only Hajjah Naziha was sitting beside me. I told her go behind the wall, because I didn't want it to attack her.

So that is why I said I won't do it anymore. I normally don't speak about it anymore because I know the consequences.

So to give a recitation [for the family to recite on the afflicted person] is ok.

They live in groups. So let us conclude. After that the lady didn't know one word of Arabic. She was speaking Swahili, English, French, [not] Arabic. She was from country, lot of jinn there.

Then a lot of people coming to me, telling me…

There was one Pakistani there. He said, "come, come…"

In any case they live in stations, like police stations. In groups or communities, kampongs, villages; all in one house together. If you harm by mistake one, all of them come, send signals and they come and attack. So that is why after Isha, it is recommended you do what ever you want before Isha. Then after Isha, you use some recitation. If you want to clean dishes [or use water].

Mawlana Grandshaykh and Mawlana Shaykh they cannot put a light after Isha. Wake up early. Why do you want to be up late at night? It is only allowed [to use water] for wudu and when you go to the bathroom or when you need to shower at night. Those three things are allowed to use water. Not [other things], because you can do that during the day. Else someone will be harmed if it by chance it hits one of them. Too many people they get it when they are in a forest or in a jungle, especially men, children, boys, they pass urine standing. That might spray them. That is why a boy or girl, if they need to, they must do it sitting; they cannot do it standing. Now we have problems now with boys more than girls because of that problem.

So now you see that people's children at certain age they become bi-polar, they say split personality. It isn't split personality. What do they do [to solve this]? They give them tablets to keep them half-sleeping. They don't treat them Islamically. They don't know. They are hearing voices. Where are voices coming from? Really it is very difficult when jinn possess someone, it is not simple that is why we ask Allah swt to protect us. We must know we cannot harm them. If you harm one, they come in hundreds. They are like tribes. You go have a fight with one of them, the whole tribe come against you, against your whole tribe. They come all of them. So doctors what they say? Bi-polar. Why did he became bipolar at the age of 30 suddenly? Why [suddenly] if someone is not bipolar? Because [they say] there is a certain gene activated when he is older.

Jinn turned it into "gene"!

Now they suck your blood – they put you in the hospital, and take your money. No he is not bipolar, he is affected by jinn. Now they give him medicine. They make him a vegetable. His body is sleeping. So the jinn cannot bring the body up. When the body is alert they make the body stronger. But when they are sleeping they cannot bring it up.

So that is problem today they think bipolar and in fact it is not - it is jinn.

So jinn travel in groups and they live in stations. They will not disturb you, you will not see them. You can live with them. As long as you give them an alert they don't bother. That is why the Prophet (s) taught us to say:

اعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

بسم الله الذي لا يضر مع اسمه شيء في الأرض ولا في السماء وهو السميع العليم

Audhu billah min ash-shaytan ir-rajeem Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem bismillahi alladhee la yadurru ma` ismuhu shayun fi 'l-ard wa la fi 's-sama wa huwa as–samee` ul-`aleem.

So whenever we come home we read it, whenever we go out we read it. At night, before we sleep we recite 3 Qul huw Allahu ahad, 3 Qul Audhu  bi rabbil falaq, 3 Qul Audhu bi rabbin-naas,  Ayat al-Kursee,  one Fatihah blow on yourself on the children and on the

whole house then sleep.

Islam gave us prescription we forget it, so that is the problem. And as long as people recite these their places are safe, their homes safe. In these countries lot of jinn. Africa and here. West less. Europe less; very less.  Because they like more equatorial areas, more jungle or desert.

[some say they are from generations from grand parents and] they keep coming. [this is especially happening, especially Malays] no, in Indonesia a lot, Thailand a lot, they like equatorial places, Somalia is equatorial, they are there. That is why you see where the equator has split the earth in half they mostly live there.

May Allah protect us. And we don't want anyone to harm us and we don't want to harm anyone, we say always Fatiha, for sake of Your Prophet, for the sake of Your awliyaullah, for the sake of our shaykh, Sultan al-Awliya, that Allah keep us protected dunya and akhira.

No Love = No Movement = No Existence
Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani | Monday, Dec 08, 2008 | Burton, MI US

Alif - Allah, mim - Muhammad (s).

Why Allah swt created creation? For sake of whom? For Sayyidina Muhammad (s). why Allah gave that for Sayyidina Muhammad (s). Because he loved him. So love in Arabic is hubb. It is two letters. 'ha' and 'ba'. So 'ha' represents hayaat, life. And 'ba' represents everything that has to have haya has to begin with 'ba', with bismAllah. Read in the name of the one who created. Bi ismi - With the name of Allah. 'ba' is with. So wit the 'ba' comes the boat. The vessel. It is the vessel of dunya. To have hayaat you have to have bismillahi, the name of Allah, as with name of Allah everything moves.

So these two letter hubb, you put them together and they show love. It means Allah swt loved His Prophet (s) and He loved the creation He created and He gave it to the most beloved one, who is Sayyidina Muhammad (s). So that hubb, when you are for example, when you are in love, what do you do? You are in love with someone what do you do? You keep in continuous movement of activities of action in order to express yourself. If you are in love to Allah or for Allah or for Sayyidina Muhammad (s) you are always keeping busy in their Names. Not only in the Name but you mention the Name in order to reach the reality. That is why awliyaullah are in love to the Prophet (s) in order to see him and be with him. So as much as you are in love you come closer to reality. Hubb makes movement to show activity to vibrate more. So when Allah swt created the Prophet (s) and created this creation for the sake of Sayyidina Muhammad (s), that secret of love, hubb, He put in that creation and that universe that it always begins vibrating continuously non-stop, as it is continuously expressing love to Allah and love to Sayyidina Muhammad (s). So that is why we see everything in the universe is speaking.

Physicists they tell you that after studying the universe, these strings, that they now found more strings are woven together in knots and they found 11 different strings connected together holding this universe together, always in vibration. When water is boiling in a pot what happens to the lid. It rattles, shaking, vibrating showing the intensity of the heat that makes it to move. So when Allah put the secret of His love, His touch, through His Beautiful Names and Attributes, through the universe, the universe is missing that continuous touch and for that reason it is vibrating more. So physicists say that when they listen to the electromagnetic waves that are vibrating in the universe it sounds with different notes in each thing and they are playing like a huge symphony that all kinds of instruments are playing together. They cannot understand it, they cannot hear it, only they can see the wavelengths in the traces of the needles that trace the wavelengths that are coming from up. Up or down, we don't know where we are. We only know that everything is harmoniously working with each other.

That is why they tell you movement is very important in human life. They say, "if you keep sitting your muscles will get weak and weak." Doctors say, "keep moving in order to keep strong." But we are lazy and we do what? We keep sitting and so after a while when we do move we get tired.

We have to move. Moving is very important. Allah showed two ways: either you move to Him through His Prophet (s) or you move the opposite way, through who? Through Shaytan.

So which one you want? We want Allah, may Allah forgive us.

So that movement is important. Every cell in your body is moving. Look the hairs in the hand - do you have hairs, professor? You take one and take it out and it comes back. You take it out, it comes back. How?

There is in it some secret. Why it comes back? Allah is Greater. It keeps in continuous movement, it doesn't stop. Because every hair of your hairs will witness in Judgment Day that you prayed. One over the other. These are witnesses, the eyes, the ears the nose, but Allah gave us more, the hair. Every hair will witness for you on Judgment Day. That is why people with more hair will have more witnesses on Judgment Day. Those with less hair will have less witnesses. But Allah gave them something else to witness for them. Because Allah made every cell to witness for you in Judgment Day. And every hair came from a cell. So you believe this hair has to grow because there is all different kinds of life coming through the veins to the roots of the hair, in order to grow.

Imagine how many capillaries you have in your body. They are so small that not even a scientist today can make smaller capillaries - that is like a pipe. These capillaries have blood moving in them, in the body. So these capillaries are pipes that Allah makes the blood to move within them. Why moving? Without moving what will happen? You will be dead. Allah makes your heart to pump, in order, that the muscle of the heart is strongest. What kind of battery is it working on? Always energetic, always pumping, pumping, not saying "no".

So everything in this universe, human beings and other than human beings, are all dependent on movement. That is why you must allow human beings to express their feelings through movement. You cannot stop that. You want to let them to move in the way of Allah or you want them to move in the way of Shaytan.

Ok, you want them to move in the way of Shaytan, ok there are lot of …

You want to come to a liberal life and come and have children. Then you want to squeeze it on your children. Why you didn't squeeze it on yourself when you were teenager? You want to squeeze them they will run away. They are not like Sayyidina Ibrahim Alayhissalam who can save himself. He was saved as he was in fire and Sayyidina Jibreel Alayhissalam came to him and said, "Ya Ibrahim, do you want help?" Allah made the fire cool and peaceful. It was moving. Fire is moving. And Allah said "stop!", and it stopped.

When Ibrahim Alayhissalam was slaughtering his son Isma`eel Alayhissalam, like this day Eid al-Adha, Allah ordered Jibreel Alayhissalam to order the knife not to cut. If you know the secrets of all these movements when you can order them to stop. The knife stopped to cut. So you are exposing your children to fire and then say "don't get burned." So you have to give them chance to express their feelings in movements. Without movement there is no feeling.

It means this universe is feeling something. What is it feeling? It is yearning for the Prophet (s). When the Pen was writing Muhammadun rasulullah (s), the Pen asked, "Who is Muhammad (s) whom you put Your name by His name?"

Allah made this universe for the sake of the Prophet (s). We are dumb then. We have more love to ourselves than to the Prophet (s).

If you feel love to the Prophet (s) as you feel love to your child, you would have seen the Prophet (s) - all of us. Not I am speaking that I am different. No, all of us. That is why Allah gave to awliyaullah to see the Prophet (s). They gave up themselves and they stepped over their rights for the right of the Prophet (s) on them.

So the universe is always yearning to see the Prophet (s). That is why Allah created love. That is why Allah created the angels of Buraq and they were all praising the Prophet (s).

Sayyidina Jibreel Alayhissalam went to find the Buraq he found many buraqs and one of them was by itself crying. He asked him, "why are you crying?" And he said, "O there are so many of us and since I was created I have been yearning for the Prophet (s) to ride on my back." How much love he has?

Two letters make that word hubb, 'ha' and 'ba'. Hayaat and Bismillah.

Then he took him to the Prophet (s). If we are yearning … that is why the hadrah is important to children. To make them among those who are remembering Allah standing, sitting and laying down. Hadrah is to express our love to Allah and His Prophet (s). So when you encourage yourself and your children they begin to have an alternative to express themselves in their movements.

Like the string, that makes different sounds and different expressions. You might hit it and it gives a different sound. Depends where you hit it and how you touch it. There are 360 points, mifsal in the human being. If you know where to touch in that human being, then you rejuvenate the person. There are 360 points, if you know how to move them and touch them then you know how to perfect your life.

I will not be too long, but I want to say movement is important. Yearning to Allah and His Prophet (s) and to Mawlana Shaykh Nazim Adil al-Haqqani makes you to come here. That is your expression of love. That movement of wherever you were coming from and you came to. You took all these difficulties and you came here. There is not reason to come here, no reason to go anywhere. Why do pilgrims go for hajj? 3 million this year. 5 million also, and they all have to be in one place - in Arafat. Not like in Ka`ba. In Ka`ba you can be doing different things, going and coming. Also in Mina. You see movement. Everyone must be in that place in one time. So all our movement it so the goal. All our movement is to...

إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ

"inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji`oon. - To Allah We belong, and to Him is our return" - Al-Baqara [2:156]

That trip we are making is all coming to the same time and place - the Day of Judgment, Yawm al-Qiyaamah. We moved here for what? To see the lamp? To see?

Something brought us together. What is that? It is that love. Only for love of Allah and love of the Prophet (s) and love of our Shaykh Muhammad Nazim al-Haqqani.

May Allah forgive us and your love is expressed in your presence in this place and anyone around the world who is also moving in a different way to reach the same goal and may Allah give everyone guidance to reach the goal.

Bi-hurmati'l-habeeb, bi-hurmati 'l-Fatiha.

Khutbat al-Jumu`ah

Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani

01-09-2009

ASIM

O Muslim, believers! This is a month of Muharram al-haraam, it is a month that Allah swt prohibited in it, any kind of fighting. It is one of the months that prohibition of killing anything, even a worm, even an ant. Especially when you are in Mecca or Madina.

This is a month where Allah swt ordered His servants to make peace, because it is the beginning of the year, the year that Allah wanted for his believers and the year of hijrah, when the Prophet (s) migrated from Mecca to Madina. When he was tortured in Mecca and Allah ordered him to leave it behind him to go to Madinat al-munawwara and he will build his state and he will build the message of Islam that first flourished in Mecca and then flourished in Madina and then flourished all over the world.

In this month we don't forget one of grandchildren of Sayyidina Muhammad (s) al-Husayn Alayhissalam whose father is Sayyidina `Ali ibn Abi Talib Alayhissalam and whose mother is Fatima az-Zahra Alayhissalam and whose grandfather is Sayyidina Muhammad (s). And he came for support of the believers and what was the result? They killed him. And not only they killed him but they were cutting him into parts. That is why Allah swt is not happy with those who are killing others. And today we are seeing killing and bloodshed all over the world.

Mostly in every country around the world we see problem and these problems can be stopped by believing in Allah's religion which is Islam which prohibits to attack anyone without a reason.

Sayyidina Muhammad (s) brought Islam as a message of peace; as a message of extending had to everyone; as a message to bring people to Paradise. Not a message to have bloodshed. Too many

كُلُّ حِزْبٍ بِمَا لَدَيْهِمْ فَرِحُونَ

kullu hizbin bim ladayhim farihoon - each party rejoices in that which is with itself. [23:53 and 30:32]

Every group is happy with what they have. Islam became groups. Instead of unity, it became groups. Instead of one hand it became hundreds and thousands of hands. Every group with different ideas, fighting each other and trying to eliminate each other.

In nay case we are not going into that subject. But we are asking Allah swt as many people around the world are doing to stop that bloodshed in the me to make sure that no one will be killed for no reason.

May Allah send his mercy on the hearts of the mothers and fathers and bro and sis and relatives of those who lost their loved ones.

As I said this is the month of temptations and we must try to do our best praying for those who passed away and sending them all kinds of prayers that Allah will forgive them and forgive us.

Sayyidina Muhammad (s) Allah gave him knowledge, as it is said in the hadith of the Prophet (s):

F`alam ukhidh `ala kitmaanahu idha `alam annahu la yaqdir `ala hamlhi ghayree. That when Allah asked him, wa sa'alanee rabbee wa lam astati` an ujeebah. Allah asked the Prophet (s) something and he was not able to answer. Allah asked something special. Then Allah put his hand between my two shoulder bi latakeefin wa la tahdeed. That means that Allah's power has been put on the Prophet's shoulders. Wa wajata bardaha. That means he felt something cool, contentment, peacefulness, "when that manifestation of Allah's Hand was between my shoulder then Allah inherited to me the `uloom al-awaleen wal-akhireen."

He didn't say, "He gave me" or "He taught me knowledge of before and after." He said, "inherited me." When you inherit someone it means you are passing what you have, or what you want to give, to that one, to own it. It is not that you taught it. It is not something teaching, it is inheriting. I can teach you all the day about everything, but I cannot inherit you. If I inherit something then I don't have it any more, it is no longer mine.

So He gave him to be his representative. To be calipha, khalifatullah `ala al-ard. To bring calipha on earth. That representation He didn't give to anyone. He gave him `uloom al-awwaleen wal-akhireen. Who are awwaleen? It means knowledge of everything before that moment. It means the moment he inherited it, all the knowledge of what came before that moment. What was before? It means that from beginning of creation, he inherited that knowledge. And `uloom al-akhireen, is knowledge of what is after. It goes, up to eternal. As much as Allah wants him to know He gives him as servant of Allah. Be sure, not to mess it up. He is happy to be Allah's perfect servant, he is happy to be `abd.

Allah owns everything. So every moment new knowledge is coming out and manifesting on the Prophet (s).

Then, he said, "thumma `alamanee `ulooman shatta - He taught me many different knowledges." These knowledges that I am speaking about. The other no one knows. One he inherited to the Prophet (s) and one He taught him. The one He inherited, the Prophet (s) never discussed it. wa `alamanee `ulooman shatta. .. He divided that knowledge into three different groups. La yaqdiroo `ala hamlihi ghayree wa `ilmun khayaranee feehi The first of that group, category, He ordered me not to mention any from that knowledge - that is private only to me and no one can take that knowledge and that burden; it is between me and Allah.

wa `alamanee al-Qur'an. One knowledge He gave Sayyidina Muhammad (s) the choice you like to share you share, if you don't like to share you don't share. "And in that knowledge he taught me the Qur'an and Jibreel was always coming to me and reminding me of that knowledge."

This is what Allah gave to the Prophet (s) to share it with anyone he likes. And the third knowledge that He ordered me to disseminate to share with everyone. That knowledge, the last one, is the knowledge of Shariah - what we have to do and how we have to live and how to discipline ourself and all this is in the third category. It is the third category that the Prophet (s) taught us in his hadith and the Prophet (s) taught to Sahaba.

Inna ad-deen `inda Allah al-Islam.

That knowledge has to continue to Judgment Day.

"And the knowledge that Allah told me, if I like I can share it and if I don't like it I wont share it, huwa `ilm al-wilaya wa huwa `ilm al-haqaiq." That second knowledge is the knowledge of the secrets of ash-Shariah. Not everyone can learn and understand it. It is a knowledge that depends how far you are progressing in your `ibadah that you will be able to learn these realities or not.

Haadhihi `uloom` ulooma haqa'iq ash-shariah wa haqaiqatuha asraruha al-makhzoona wal-maknoona alladhee asarahu an-Nabi (s) ila khawas ashaabi. That hidden knowledge was not given to anyone except to some private Sahaaba. Only a few Sahaaba took it, not every Ashaab knew it.

That is why Abu Hurayrah said, "two types of knowledge the Prophet (s) gave me. One I shared with the people, and the other if I share it, they will cut this neck."[1]

O Muslims! There are knowledges that Allah swt gave to Prophet: the first is `ilm an-nubbuwat, the second is the knowledge that if he likes to share it he may and he may not if he doesn't. That is what Abu Hurayrah confirmed and then the third is the `ilm ash-Shariah al-ghara al-mutahhara, that Allah wants everyone to follow the Shariah of Islam.

Today everything that we are seeing and learning and understanding all comes from `ilm ash-Shariah. The level above that if we. Look at Abu Hamid al-Ghazali - he revealed a small amount of this knowledge and he was thrown as a heretic at one time of his life. Many other sincere pious scholars of Islam brought out these knowledges – they have been killed.

O Muslims worship more and try to be sincere. Ask Allah to make you sincere. Ask Allah to give you more and Allah will send to your heart more knowledges that will make you be happy here and hereafter. I will not be too long this is enough. May Allah bless us.

Yesterday we spoke about…

Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem. We spoke about Sayyidina Shah Naqshband Qaddasallahu Sirrahu and it was his urs and Sayyidina Shah Naqshband Qaddasallahu Sirrahu, Allah gave him many characteristics. And one we explained yesterday and another is that Allah gave him two eyes that one cannot distinguish the white from the black - one is always overtaking the other. You can see the white over the pupil and the pupil over the white and he has big eyes and so people cannot dare to look at his eyes; they get afraid because there is a majestic power in his eyes. As Grandshaykh Qaddasallahu Sirrahu explained it was like a tahoon, a grinder, they turn like that and they are as big like that, symbolically we say, "they are big eyes." And people cannot look into his eyes because of that manifestation of that heavenly power that comes to him from two oceans, the ocean of rahmat - Divine Mercy and the ocean of qudrah- Divine Power, these two oceans were always manifesting these two Beautiful Names and Attributes on him and they are appearing in his eyes. And because Allah gave him that power he is trying not ot waste it and trying not to spend it, because in every moment these manifestations are descending from heavens on him and to keep his eyes safe, from looking at something haraam, he was trying to, as when you look and see something that you are not allowed to look at what do you do? You turn your face or you look down. Or when a bad thought comes to the mind, of anything you are thinking, you close your eyes and then open your eyes and say "istaghfirullah," as focus comes first from the eyes. So you try not to focus, as Sayyidina Shah Naqshband Qaddasallahu Sirrahu likes to keep his focus not on dunya things, he wants to keep it more on heavenly things.

So some people when they pray they want to chase away these bad thoughts that come, so they close their eyes, and that is the only reason it is accepted in Shariah to close the eyes in prayer, as it is not accepted to pray with your eyes closed - you must keep the eyes open.

Some people when they pray they might look at you or they look back and left by moving their eyes, not their head. And sometimes you focus on many thoughts bad thoughts that come and you forget the number of raka`ats you prayed.

And Shah Naqshband Qaddasallahu Sirrahu didn't want to lose that focus so in order to do that he was keeping the white moving over the black and the black moving over the white. And anyone looking into his eyes will be struck by lightning as he doesn't want to use the energy to look at people.

So the discipline was that his mureeds never look at his face. And that is the correct adab of tariqah when the Shaykh gives association then you must keep your head down and not look up.

That is ok for us, as we are beginners. But in our time when we were sitting with Mawlana Shaykh Nazim Qaddasallahu Sirrahu or with Grandshaykh Qaddasallahu Sirrahu the adab was to keep the eyes down

And Sayyidina Shah Naqshband Qaddasallahu Sirrahu was keeping the energy of that light for a day when everyone will be in need of it. That is the day:

يَوْمَ يَفِرُّ الْمَرْءُ مِنْ أَخِيهِ وَأُمِّهِ وَأَبِيهِ وَصَاحِبَتِهِ وَبَنِيهِ

yawma yafirru al-maru min akhihi wa ummihi wa abeeh. That Day shall a man flee from his own brother, and from his mother and father, 80:36 (Asad) and from his spouse and his children:  80:34

The day a person runs from his brother and sister and father and mother and wife and children running and saying "myself, myself!"

At that day you will not see pity for anyone you will not think about anyone but yourself, not even the children. Today always they say save the children. But on that day no one will be able to think about the children or anyone but himself.

Only Sayyidina Muhammad (s). Who is able to stand up in the presence of his Lord and think about someone other than his family? That One is not caring for himself or his family at that time, but he is caring for the Ummah.

He is the only one. He is saying, "O my Lord! Do whatever you like with me, but [give me] my nation."

Even all prophets cannot ask intercession - they come to Sayyidina Muhammad (s) asking intercession Judgment Day.

آدم ومن دونه تحت لوائي يوم القيامة ، ولا فخر

"Adam and whoever is other than him are under my flag on Judgment Day."

On that day, Allah gave him that right. On that day Allah gave him that right, Allah gave him helpers. Although the Prophet (s) doesn't need helpers, but in order to guide the Ummah there are every century helpers to help guide the people.

And that is why we know there are 124,000 saints and there are 7007 Naqshband saints. They are present with the Prophet (s) and waiting for [unclear] ummah.

The Prophet (s) said, "Afdal al-ummah akhyar al-ummah, akhir al-ummah - The Ummah that has been most mercied by Allah is this ummah, and the last of this ummah." You might be from these 7007 saints, Allah knows best. Very few are coming and attending Mawlana Shaykh Nazim's lectures. Who knows. They might be 7007. There are always 7007.

So first to be ordered after Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq Qaddasallahu Sirrahu and Sayyida Fatima az-Zahra Alayhissalam is Sayyidina Shah Naqshband Qaddasallahu Sirrahu. And that day, because you know that if you have a hundred golden coins and a generous person came and said, "this is 100 golden coins and every week I am giving to this center." And he asks the shaykh or imam to distribute to whoever is attending that center every week, equally. And if there is 100 people every one will take one. And if there are 10 people everyone will take 10. And if there is only one person he will take all the 100.

And on Day of Judgment the intercession of intercessors will be cumulative. First Sayyidina Muhammad (s) and then Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq Radiallahu anhu and then Sayyida Fatima Radiallahu anhu and that is her dowry.

And that is when she was asked to marry Sayyidina `Ali (r), the Prophet (s) asked if she accepted and she said "no." And the Prophet (s) was not happy with this answer, and Jibreel came to him and said, " ask her why? And the Prophet (s) asked and Sayyida Fatima said, "you were always asking 'my Ummah, my Ummah!' In birth you were saying, 'my Ummah, my Ummah!' and in your life you are asking, 'my Ummah, my Ummah,' and in your grave you will be asking, 'my Ummah, my Ummah,' and on Judgment Day you will be asking 'my Ummah, my Ummah!' So I too want to be like you in saving the Ummah, and so I am asking that my dowry will be the whole ummah.

Now the dowry is that - she owns that dowry. Now there is custom that they bring a wife and say, "make a marriage." There is no dowry, no wakeel, how is that? You must give a dowry. You must not be cheap. You must give as much as you can to respect the honor of your wife.

Today they make a marriage and they give two rings. What is that $10, and $10!?

Bring her something that will benefit your wife in her future, she and her children. That is why the dowry will be important for her. It might be khatm al Qur'an [recitation of entire Qur'an]. It might be you do 1000 salawat on her behalf every day.

So her dowry was she got married with the whole ummah as her dowry. At that time she will come and say, "O My Lord, I am asking my dowry." If she doesn't get her dowry then her marriage is not accepted. Her marriage was accepted and authenticated by Allah. And they say there is no respect for ladies. One lady will take everyone to Paradise, men and women.

So they are… she intercedes for the Ummah. Sayyidina Abu Bakr Radiallahu anhu intercedes for the Ummah. Sayyidina Muhammad (s) for sure will intercede for everyone. Then awliyaullah one after one, will intercede and that will accumulate. That trust will accumulate on us. From the Prophet (s) , from Sayyidina Abu Bakr Radiallahu anhu, from Sayyida Fatima Alayhissalam from awliyaullah, so they will accumulate and then the mercy of Allah will come. So we will all be under that.

So after that Allah will give permission to Shah Naqshband Qaddasallahu Sirrahu to use his eyes. There is no "how" in religion, there is kun fayakoon. How many human beings are on earth today? 6 billion. Can you put 6 billion in one saaha, or one playing field or one courtyard? Let us say you can put them. There is a huge area bigger than this earth that can accommodate these 6 billion people and you see them and you see this huge gathering jam`an ghaafir, too much like an ocean that has no beginning and no end. Bigger than oceans. There are 6 billion in one courtyard. Can you identify one in the middle with your eyes like that? No. you cannot. Imagine then, not imagine, but think, forget 6 billion, on the day of resurrection not only 6 billion, but everyone is going to be on that huge playing field that Allah creates. This is beyond our understanding but at least it will give us an idea and open our minds to think.

We never thought like that before now Mawlana is sending that information. So you look not at 6 billion but at trillions of human being, standing in this playing field. Each with a name and with a personality and with different features. No two looks the same except twins. They don't look the same. And think what kind of power Allah gave to Sayyidina Muhammad (s) to identify each one from this crowd. He knows them one by one - he cannot intercede for them without knowing their names. Allah will open for him an ocean of knowledge that he (s) will know each of them from beginning to end.

Can you imagine that?  Try to draw it in your mind, as if you are looking at this playing field on Day of Judgment and asking Allah, "Ya Allah! We are weak servants forgive us our sins" and we are seeing Sayyidina Muhammad (s) and the awliyaullah and they will intercede for us in our sins.

At that moment after whomever Allah wants to intercede first, when Shah Naqshband Qaddasallahu Sirrahu's turn comes, he will release that energy that he has stored up from those two Beautiful Names and Attributes: al-Qadir and ar-Rahman, from that light he was accumulating in his eyes all his life, he will release it out and make that light as thin as possible and he will send it as much as it can go to the right. He will send it as much as it will stretch right it will go right and when it cannot reach any more right, it has to go to the other side, it goes like rectangle, as much as it can go vertical over this crowd. He is standing beside the Prophet (s) and releasing it and it goes right as much as it can go and then vertical as much as it can go and then left as much as it can go and then vertical again as much as it can go from his right eye all the way to make a square or a circle or a rectangle and then finally coming all the way around back to his left eye. Whoever is inside the rectangle, square or circle will go inside the intercession of Sayyidina Shah Naqshband Qaddasallahu Sirrahu Qaddasallahu Sirrahu besides the intercession of the Prophet (s). And awliyaullah say in the way he does it he will pull out from this crowd what will fill four paradises.

That is why he didn't want to waste his sight in dunya. It is not worth it. He is saving it for akhira, when everyone is in need of it, when everyone runs from wife, runs from his father, runs from his mother and runs from his children saying, "myself and myself."

And awliya say, "If Shah Naqshband Qaddasallahu Sirrahu did that by himself, cannot the rest of awliya fill the remaining three paradises. Look one wali, Allah gave that power to Shah Naqshband Qaddasallahu Sirrahu. That is one of his characters that awliyaullah they like to save their energy their power for the last day. They don't like to show, Naqshband saints for dunya, they like to keep it for akhira. What is benefit if I tell to Muhammad Amin to rise up and then he rises up. What is the benefit? Sayyidina Muhammad (s) brought a miracle that last from beginning to end, that there is no beginning and no end. The Holy Qur'an. Allah spoke these words to Jibreel and Jibreel to the Prophet (s) and the Prophet (s) brought it to us. Not any other religion has these words of Allah to be given to their nation. We have been give the words, the letters of the words that Allah gave to Jibreel Alayhissalam and Jibreel Alayhissalam revealed to the Prophet (s). `Allama al-qur'an – He taught the Qur'an - that is the Word of Allah, the Letter of Allah and it is what Allah likes. Only looking at the Qur'an will intercede for you in Day of Judgment and in the grave. Even a convert if you cannot read, even looking into Holy Qur'an will benefit you.

If people give you this recorder as a gift you will be happy. What about when Allah is giving us His Holy Words revealed to Sayyidina Muhammad (s) by Jibreel Alayhissalam? What better gift do you want?

So Naqshband shaykhs don't like to do miracles - don't ask them for miracles. They will make du`a for you, but not in direct way. They want to hide themselves, hiding their powers. They want to use it in Judgment Day. So Sayyidina Shah Naqshband Qaddasallahu Sirrahu was saving the power of his eyes to use in the Judgment Day to fill four paradises. When he was passing away he was on the bed and as Sayyidina Azraeel Alayhissalam was coming to take his soul, and say Azraeel in one of the hadith says, if I knew and if I felt, ("knew" here means "felt") if I know how much difficulty is the taking of a person' soul I would not take except with softness. As on the last day, when Allah orders him to take the soul of every angel, he takes his own soul and except for Sayyidina Israfil. So he takes the soul of himself and he says if I knew how it was to take the soul, I would never do it except with ease.

So as Sayyidina Azraeel Alayhissalam was coming to take his soul he was falling from the bed to floor. And the mureeds were putting him back on the bed, and each time he would fall down again. And each time he is on the floor and rubbing his head and his beard on the floor and saying Ya `Afuw, Ya `Afuw. This majestic saint, with the light of his face and the light of his sainthood and the breath of spiritual incense that comes from him, was rubbing his face on the floor when he falls and saying Ya `Afuw, Ya `Afuw and they carry him and put him back on bed and he falls again and says Ya `Afuw Ya `Afuw Ya `Afuw. If he has to do like that what about us? Look at how you are spending your life and look at yourself and how you can fight your ego.

Seven times he was falling down and saying, "Ya `Afuw, Ya `Afuw….`afuw `anna Ya Kareeem `afwak wa ridaaka.  Bi sirri suratil Fatiha.

The one who will fill four paradises is rubbing his face on floor and from something he considers a big sin. We know there are big sins and small sins, kaba'ir and sagha'ir. He considered he did a big sin, bigger than the biggest sin. The big sins are known. Lying cheating, drinking alcohol, zina, eating pork, these are big sins. Kaba'ir. Sagha'ir are whatever you do outside these, they are sagha'ir. For these you make ablution and pray two raka`ats and ask Allah's forgiveness, they are gone, Allah will forgive.

The Sultan al-Awliya, the one who spread the tariqah, east and west, and after whom the tariqah takes the name. What he did to say, "Ya `Afuw." It is good to say, "Ya `Afuw." But in that emotional way.

Allah is reminding him on the time of his death, "Ya Shah Naqshband Qaddasallahu Sirrahu, you are inheritor of the secrets of the Prophet (s), you are My saint.

Behold! verily on the friends of Allah there is no fear, nor shall they grieve; 10:62

Ala inna awliyaullah… you have nothing to fear. But Ya Shah Naqshband Qaddasallahu Sirrahu, what you did was not accepted."

Look He is speaking to him not from our levels. Inspiring his heart. We have to be careful when we say these things it is not for our level, we are beginners. These are levels of saints. The Maqam al-Ihsan the level of submission to Allah and not interfering except you are submitting and accepting to say ashhadu an la ilah illah Allah wa ashhadu anna muhammadun Rasulullah you are bearing witness with vision not with the maqam al-awwaam that is normal communal level. But kashf if you are speaking in at-tahiyaat, al-mubarakat lillahi was-salawatu at-tayyibaat,… you are in the Divine Presence my salaams to him Ya Muhammad (s), you are seeing him there. So that level is not for us. That is level for what Allah inspiring Shah Naqshband Qaddasallahu Sirrahu. He said, "Ya Muhammad (s) Bahauddin Naqshband. What you did is not for a saint to do. My Will is My Will. My Will no one will interfere in it." "Ya Rabbee what I did?" He is speaking to himself, speaking to Allah, getting an inspiration. "Remember in the village when you had a drought, remember what you did?" That is why he was falling off the bed and saying Ya `Afuw. He said, "I learned the lesson not to interfere in anything You want."

That is why when you got to wali you ask him to pray, he will pray but if he has no permission to change that destiny, it will not change. That is a code.

What he did Sayyidina Shah Naqshband Qaddasallahu Sirrahu to cause this humiliation at the time of his passing? There was drought in his village for many months. There was no food - so they came to him saying, "Ya Shah Naqshband Qaddasallahu Sirrahu, we have nothing to eat. Children have nothing to eat. We are begging you to intercede." So instead of praying as it must be done in the Naqshbandi way, instead he did something to teach the Naqshbandi students [what not to do]. And he asked the richest family, "Do you have any slight amount of wheat in your home?" That villager said, "W'Allahi if you look through whole village you will not find any wheat at all but I have a small amount that I saved." Shah Naqshband Qaddasallahu Sirrahu said, "bring it." So he brought it and you know in the village they have grinding stones and they have two cows or buffalo and they put the yoke on the cow and he turns the grinding stones. He put one yoke on himself and one on a cow and put the wheat between the stones. And he began to turn the grindstone, and he told the people "come and bring as many people as you can and wheat will be coming out for all the day."

And as he was turning the people were filling their bags with flour and filling and filling. It was filling the whole area, from morning to evening. He did that physical miracle one time. Allah made him to make istighfaar when he was leaving dunya saying to him, "Why you interfered in My Will?"

"I put My Will like that. Why did you put your finger in it? It is not your business, it is not your job."

It is Allah's iradah. "You want to do it you do it, but you must take permission." That is why after that story, awliyaullah cannot do miracles except with permission of Sayyidina Muhammad (s). So Shah Naqshband Qaddasallahu Sirrahu considered that a big sin, bigger than the big sins and he was asking Allah's forgiveness, and finally, after seven times falling and saying "Ya `Afuw…" he stopped falling from the bed and Allah forgave him and he passed away on his bed.

So that is one of many stories from the line of saints of Shah Naqshband Qaddasallahu Sirrahu, and I didn't plan to have that story and also I am hearing that story from Mawlana Shaykh now and maybe to take a new understanding. And whatever Grandshaykh spoke he took his mureeds to the level that was spoken about. And that means we don't leave here without he level that Shah Naqshband Qaddasallahu Sirrahu was dressed and what other awliyaullah have been dressed and so we will insha-Allah be with him under that light that comes from his two eyes and under the shafa`ah of the Prophet (s) and all awliyaullah.
